Love exploring new mobile apps and writing about your experience? We’re looking for people who can download, test, and evaluate apps from home. Zero experience needed, just bring curiosity about how apps work and the willingness to write honest, detailed feedback about what you find.
Roles: You’ll spend your time installing and using different mobile applications, testing their features, and checking how well they actually work. Once you’ve thoroughly tested each app, you’ll write reviews that explain what the app does, how it performs, and any problems you run into along the way.
Requirements: To succeed in this position, you need a working smartphone or tablet, whether that’s an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. You’ll use it to get apps from the app store, put them through their paces, and document your findings.
Contract length: Get flexibility with a contract that adapts to your life. Work whenever you want, as much as you want, with no rigid schedule holding you back.
Rate: $35 per hour (Varies based on how complex the app is and how much detail your review needs to include)
Skills/background needed:
- Experience navigating mobile devices and downloading applications without needing much guidance.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and produce thorough analysis of how apps perform.
- Willingness to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours weekly to testing and writing reviews.
- Stable broadband connection for app downloads, online research, and team communication.
